Our story begins in November 2018, our junior year of high school, when we were set up to go to Homecoming together. Neither of us knew each other very well at the time, but we ended up talking all night and having a great time together. That dance, along with a very late night of texting about an insane Texas A&M vs. LSU overtime game (Peyton knew exactly how to relate to Andrew here), led to our first date at Taco Mama a few weeks later, which has since become one of our favorite date spots. It did not take long for us to officially start dating after that, and we wouldn’t miss another high school dance together.

When college application season came around during our senior year, we both decided that Auburn University would be the place we called home. Despite the crazy transition from high school to college and the times we did not get to see each other much because of COVID, we eventually settled into our home on the Plains. At Auburn, our relationship continued to grow as we experienced college side by side. We had the best times together in college, making new lifelong friends and memories in a fun four years (though Auburn football gave us quite the headache a time or two). Through it all, our relationship stood firm and our love deepened.

Andrew would go on to graduate from the Auburn engineering program in 2024 while Peyton continued her journey in pharmacy school in Auburn. Andrew did not find himself very far from Peyton, just 45 miles up the road working in LaGrange, Georgia. While in pharmacy school, Peyton and her roommates decided to take a fun trip to New York City, and with their help, Andrew decided to take advantage of that trip. He successfully planned a surprise engagement in Central Park on the morning of December 7, 2025, and that ended up being the best day of both of their lives.

We are so excited to celebrate this season with our family and friends, and we cannot wait for our story to continue with our upcoming marriage in May!
